QUIETER THAN TGV?

[edit]

The article says "Less noise, because it had no wheels and so transmitted less vibration to the track.[3]" but at high speed isn't aerodynamic noise the dominant problem with high speed trains, not "wheel squeal"? Also the Aerotrain had blowers for levitation that must have been a source of considerable noise. This was definitely a problem on the Rohr Aerotrain. I don't have access to the reference but this looks dubious to me. Tjej (talk) 10:18, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Some of the information provided in the text is not referenced and highly dubious. For example, it says that the jet engine of the HV was "on the top". In fact the structure on top of the HV was the air intake and the engine was within the body of the vehicle at the same level as the structure at the rear which deflected the exhaust thrust as necessary. 80.0.24.82 (talk) 21:47, 22 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
