[edit] İvaz Mehmet
The name of the Ottoman commander was Silahtar Damat Mehmed Pasha. I editted it; now it is İvaz Mehmet Pasha. Ivaz Mehmet is the correct name and it is well sourced. (Also it complies with the list of Ottoman grand viziers). But I noticed that the former name was also sourced. I wonder if the two names refer to the same person. - Nedim, I'm no expert on the subject, but it does seem that the two names (Silahdar Damat Mehmed Paşa and İvaz Mehmet Pasha) refer to the same person. Just a matter of different translations, I imagine. (And sorry for the late reply - I saw your message on my talk page, but completely forgot to respond. Sorry!)
