Who makes their engine and transmission???[edit]

Who manufactures - or at least designs - their engine? Mostly S&S. And their 6-speed transmission? Baker. I can't believe that they design their own engine and transmission - that is a huge job, particularly if you want an engine/transmission that is competitive with other motorcycle engines designed and manufactured by Honda, Harley-Davidson, etc. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.158.54.161 (talk) 17:24, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
