Unlock[edit]

The film has been out for over a year; shouldn't it be time to unlock this article?--209.169.110.78 (talk) 21:59, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to try Wikipedia:Pending changes instead but it seems like there's still been recent problems. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 03:25, 3 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There's a section that speaks of Tangled as an upcoming movie. It's out for some time now, maybe that part could be corrected. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PierriBatista (talkcontribs) 15:50, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Done. I changed the sentence you mentioned. Thanks for pointing it out! --McDoobAU93 16:25, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Why is this still locked? The encyclopedia only registered users can edit? Force everyone to log in or don't but pretending this is an open encyclopedia is a joke if articles remain locked for years on end. -- 109.77.93.221 (talk) 14:19, 13 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please be more specific about what needs to be changed. Ncmvocalist (talk) 03:27, 3 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Penny's real name[edit]

To all editors, Penny's real name is presumably Penny as it is listed so in the credits. Whoever renames her as "Amanda Maiman", please note somewhere that it is not an official Disney name or provide official and valid proof that this name is real (that doesn't come from FanFiction.net) so people don't think it's the actual name. 76.249.18.95 (talk) 00:47, 14 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Until someone presents a reliable and verifiable source stating that Miley Cyrus' character's name is something other than Penny, any attempt to change the character's name without a source will be considered vandalism and be treated accordingly. This also includes any attempt at a disclaimer saying it's a fan name; if it ain't official, it ain't so. I can't believe we're dealing with this on a two-year-old movie. --McDoobAU93 22:10, 14 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Done. I also tweaked the section to speak about all the games, not just the one that has a separate article. --McDoobAU93 17:22, 22 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Box office section. Please change 'additional $195,926,415 million' to 'additional $195,926,415' - there is no need to state the word 'million' as this is already accounted for in the numeric value. 81.151.181.133 (talk) 13:37, 7 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

In the plot, say the two start their journey westward in a U-Haul truck. 209.134.127.183 (talk) 05:16, 10 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: This detail is extraneous and not important to the plot. It's essentially a case of product placement. The moving van could just as easily have been any rental company's brand (or one completely fictional) and the story would not have changed. --McDoobAU93 17:13, 10 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request[edit]

The link to the disney revival should really point to here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walt_Disney_Animation_Studios#2010.E2.80.93present:_Continued_resurgence

The current link only talks about the Renaissance, not the revivial — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.151.37.251 (talk) 18:20, 10 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I too was frustrated today, 22 September 2017, when following the link to Disney Revival which turned out to be a link to the earlier Disney Renaissance period instead. How to note this on the Wikipedia page for Bolt? I have no idea! All I manage to do, generally, is a few simple edits -- the rest of the stuff (sandbox, this talk page, etc.) is all too esoteric for a beginner like me. Really need a Wiki Editing 101 course video, which probably exists, but how do I find it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Loge Reborn (talkcontribs) 03:44, 22 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Edit Request[edit]

Todd Marinovitch did not voice Bolt: John Travolta did. This article appears to have been vandalised in several places.

John Travolta voiced Bolt, not Todd Marinovich. It says it right there in the picture of the movie poster. Todd Marinovich wasn't involved with the film in any way. Please remove all references and links to Todd Marinovich and replace them with John Travolta. Thanks. Thatsneakyguy (talk) 12:08, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Done Thanks for catching it. It's been fixed and the vandal has been warned. --McDoobAU93 13:07, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
