Merge with Slush fund[edit]

I think that this topic would be better served as subsections of slush fund, as the base meaning is the same. Any differences are due to the language (not a dictionary) and usage (we can "see also" to the corruption article, for example) of it. At any rate, the Portuguese version was moved to caixa dois (spelt out) back in 2007, and it links to slush fund, not here. @Mathglot:, what do you think? - ChrisWar666 (talk) 03:00, 5 December 2019 (UTC) Edit: I think I need to learn how to ping? - ChrisWar666 (talk) 12:28, 10 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The portuguese article suggests caixa dois is a generic term for undeclared finances. This can vary from small-time tax evasion to big-time fiscal flows.
A slush fund is to my mind just one specific scenario of many. It's a covert reserve of money set aside for shady purposes, a budgetary concept.
I therefore do not agree with Caixa Dois becoming a subsection of slush fund. Feedback welcome, regards Guffydrawers (talk) 07:17, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
