Appearance of CABAL[edit]

While CABAL (Computer Assisted Biologically Augmented Lifeform) didn't play any role in the game, I believe that in the final mission, where Havoc has to rescue Sydney from Kane's Sarajevo temple, one can hear clips of a male NOD EVA malfunctioning. While most of these are simply amusing ("Intruder Alert. Alert Cancelled. Intruder Alert. Alert Cancelled. Intruder Alert. Intruder Cancelled. All intruders please report to the detetion center," and "Attention: There's no business like show business. Don't throw stones in glass houses without proper protection. That is all.") One of them clearly says "Computer Assisted Biologically Augmented Lifeform damaged. Please shut down all non-essential operations." Is it worth noting in this article that this could be the earliest reference to CABAL in the Command & Conquer timeline? --InvaderJim42 16:42, 23 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Its worth mentioning, but not in this article. I think that we do have a dedicated CABAL article here somewhere, so place that info there. TomStar81 22:51, 15 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Takes place later[edit]

It takes place during TD I admit there are problems it's to many years ahead to advanced tech but it can not just be that GDI attacked Kanes Sarajevo temple after seizing in TD. Jamhaw 18:23, 25 May 2006 (UTC)jamhaw[reply]

One possible explanation for this is mentioned in C&C3 Tiberium Wars, it says that the Commandos have prototype weapons and armor. So if the only problem is tech, than whatever is ahead of schedule is a prototype. Lunawarrior 16:38, 31 July 2008

This is actually just based off of artistic freedom from Weswtood's side. Many things (Such as the volt auto rifle and the Nod laser guns) doesnt exist even in Tiberan Sun. The unit design is not proper canon. Atlas Tasume 15:01, 27 November 2013 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.228.206.229 (talk)

Peewee and I have already met[edit]

I added that as a possible reference to their plans for Renegade 2 and I got it from watching a scene that was not cut because it was on the cutscene I was watching Jamhaw 20:53, 19 August 2006 (UTC)jamhaw[reply]

Logan Shephard[edit]

I can find no information that suggests that the original name of the Renegade main character was "Logan Shephard". The video reference at the end of the article (the one labelled "Original Renegade trailer, featuring Logan Shephard and original Nod soldiers") makes no mention of the name Logan Shephard. In fact, while it also makes no mention of the name "Nick Parker", it does say "Operative: Havok" quite clearly. Kurt 02:34, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

However, the character in question appears in Renegade marked as "Logan Shephard", so I think the use of this name is justified here. Also, it is better to use a name instead of a description, which would risk constituting an opinion. Mikael GRizzly 13:36, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New strategy[edit]

Today whilst playing the game i found a new strategy. Generally i call it the kamikazi. Basicly a unit with proximity mines stick all of the c4s to a friendly unit or vechicle then simply runs at the enemy this strategy is best used when friendly fire is off and is used more as a joke then anything serious although as i have witnessed within the game it works well with a apc verses a tank.

ps using others c4s dont work as well as they dont go off near the enemy.

First, please sign your posts. Second, this is not the place for strategies, although thank you for only posting it in the Talk section. Chronolegion 12:31, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not the only non-RTS[edit]

While Command & Conquer: Sole Survivor is a bit difficult to categories and is little know and hardly a success I don't think many would call it a RTS despite the isometric perspective it's more like a FPS then anything Nil Einne 11:13, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposal[edit]

I suggest that the article List of references of Command & Conquer Renegade will be merged into this article, because of obvious reasons. The article above is simply a "spin-off article" from this one. --MrStalker talk 08:49, 16 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article is nig enough as it is. I say, leave it as it is. Mikael GRizzly 18:08, 16 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WOW[edit]

This article needs to be seriously rewritten. ALOT of things need to be cut out, such as weapon and vehicle lists and the like. If no one responds to this, I'll start it myself, but I want the regular editors input. DurinsBane87 11:04, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New Renegade Game[edit]

According to http://planetcnc.gamespy.com/fullstory.php?id=146181 the newest game informer may feature info on a new fps for c&c sketchy, so i didn't edit it, but something to look at, and possibly add at a later date —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.243.180.220 (talk) 20:39, 15 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Louis Ren TFD.jpg[edit]

Image:Louis Ren TFD.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Modifications[edit]

Can anyone attach any importance or significance to the mods listed here? Any reliable, third-party coverage would be ideal. Otherwise, they should be removed. Marasmusine (talk) 16:37, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This section was edited and information about other mods than APB removed. I will write it again soon. I just added cnc reborn again. Renardin6 (talk) 10:16, 07 January 2011

Black Hand[edit]

I think "Black Hand" should be capitalized since it is the name of an organization. Does anyone else agree?--24.240.186.152 (talk) 12:57, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
