Necessity of addition of text[edit]

It was necessary to add text from Rev. Hugo Hoever's book "Lives of the Saints, For Every Day of the Year," as well as from Dom Gaspar LeFebvre's work "The Saint Andrew's Missal, with Vespers for Sundays and Feast Days," in order to explain the necessity of having a feast day such as the feast of the "Most Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ." The text of the article prior to the additions didn't convey the intrinsic meaning of this wonderful feast. The present Church would benefit greatly from a re-institution of this feast. Traditional Roman Catholics continue to celebrate this feast on July 1. MamaGeri (talk) 20:55, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
