Future Developments

[edit]

On the bottom of this article there is the box FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS IN SINGAPORE. Then under the section OTHER BUILDING the MARINA BARRAGE is still listed. Can someone remove MARINA BARRAGE from this list as this building was completed end of 2008. This is already updated on the article for this building. I don't know how to take this our there so I would neeed your help. Thanks! --Shorty23sin (talk) 05:58, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What was here before?

[edit]

I only skimmed the article but I can't see what was previously on this location. I see it's on reclaimed land but it was reclaimed thirty years ago while this development is only a couple of years old.

Adding such might be an improvement. — Hippietrail (talk) 14:51, 19 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sustainability and Environmental Benefits

[edit]

Could a section be added on the benefits of the garden on the urban environment and inhabitants of the surrounding community? I believe this was a major driver in the conversion of this land into this garden and I think it would be worthwhile to include. This garden is in the international spotlight and bringing its positive impacts on urban sustainability, the environment, and human health could be powerful for educating readers on the role this garden plays in those respects. The sustainability efforts are highlighted on the Gardens by the Bay website linked below https://www.gardensbythebay.com.sg/en/the-gardens/sustainability-efforts.html --Htaroli (talk) 01:45, 20 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
