Rating
[edit]This article ought to be rated B.--Johnsoniensis (talk) 10:28, 5 February 2017 (UTC)
- I agree, but I only added
|class=Start
to avoid it being unassessed and expect further comments. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 05:34, 6 February 2017 (UTC)- I had earlier rated it C but that was done in haste; however that rating was deleted by another editor.--Johnsoniensis (talk) 09:38, 6 February 2017 (UTC)
- This article covers most of the information available on a short, obscure, rarely performed opera about which little is known anyway. By definition this page is never going to be as long as our article on Carmen, for example. It has multiple sources, including the recent, definitive biography of Rameau by Sylvie Bouissou (from 2014). Everything is referenced as far as I can see. It might be possible to expand it further but that would take it into GA/FA territory. --Folantin (talk) 10:21, 6 February 2017 (UTC)
- Before User:Johnsoniensis' edit, the article was rated as Stub. They then rated it as "C", which you removed, leaving it unassessed. I then rated it as Start as an interim measure, but I agreed with Johnsoniensis that it should be rated "B". What rating do you suggest? -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 13:18, 6 February 2017 (UTC)
- B. I think the main point of the rating scheme is to assess which articles are in need of attention or expansion and this one doesn't really need either any more. --Folantin (talk) 17:15, 6 February 2017 (UTC)
