Lack of sources and references[edit]

I don't see any problem with this page. It has info from the toy box, and people who read the comic books and watched the TV show. Seems fine to me. 6-21-06 user:Mathewignash

Agreed. Removed. Evan1975 22:49, 26 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Transformers: Armada section[edit]

This section comes from an interview. The interview is not sourced. It is unknown if the interview is free. William Ortiz (talk) 22:16, 29 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Two Different Characters[edit]

Why do two different characters - who happen to have the same name - share the same article? --Robinson weijman (talk) 18:49, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's quite common. Look up Starscream and see many guys with the same name sharing the same article. Mathewignash (talk) 21:29, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the reply but I do not agree with the analogy. Starscream is a series of Transformers characters / universe. Leader-1 is from two different stories altogether. --Robinson weijman (talk) 11:49, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Actually Hasbro bought the rights to the Gobots name and Leader-1 has been seen in the fiction from the Transformers Collectors Club. So he's now part of the Transformers universe. Mathewignash (talk) 16:26, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Blimey! I didn't know that - good point. I guess that goes also for Cy-Kill? --Robinson weijman (talk) 19:58, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, The recent fiction from the Transformers club had a story of a group of Gobots traveling to another dimension and ending up on Cybertron, and they made a toy for the character of Bug Bite, a Renegade Gobot who tried to kill Megatron and take over his troops. Not one of the original 21[edit]

Apperantley Leader 1's basis, Eagle Robo, was not amoung the first wave of Machine Robo basic figures, So do you think there was someone amoung the first wave to have been made freindly leader instead? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Georgiacatcrimson (talkcontribs) 07:42, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The image File:ArmadaIssue6Leader1.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.

Comments - reasoning for moving it to draft space - this article needs a lot of work[edit]

  • Comment: This article needs editing, reduction of overlinking, and use of reliable sources. I see that it is also suggested that it is merged into List of Gobots characters. Taking it out of article space might give the breathing room to figure out what content should be covered for Leader-1. There's a lot of unnecessary detail and it is not cohesive. I will be watching this page - and the talk page. Please feel free to comment and I'm happy to help sort out the work that needs to be done. CaroleHenson (talk) 03:02, 4 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Anthony Appleyard and Hasteur: For what it's worth, this popped up on the Special:NewPagesFeed because it hadn't been reviewed and it had recent history.
I did look at the history and found that there have been recent attempts to make it a redirect page. One of the comments was: "Redirect to the main article. This topic does not currently establish notability, so it does not require coverage outside of the main topic at this time." And, it redirect to List of Gobots characters, which is also in dire need of help.--CaroleHenson (talk) 23:46, 4 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
