Merge / Rename proposal[edit]

In December 2016, Leeds Roller Dolls and Hot Wheel Roller Derby merged and adopted the name Leeds Roller Derby - the WFTDA website says January 2017: [1] but the new Leeds Roller Derby website says Dec 2016: [2]. Comparing the two current team articles, there is a lot more in the Leeds article than in Hot Wheel, so I propose merging Hot Wheel Roller Derby into Leeds Roller Dolls, and then renaming Leeds Roller Dolls as Leeds Roller Derby. Discussion to be found here: Talk:Leeds Roller Dolls#Merge / Rename proposal.Echoedmyron (talk) 14:54, 24 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Support - makes sense to merge these together to provide the history of the new league in one article. Warofdreams talk 04:19, 28 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, WOD. I don't expect any contrary opinions to this proposal, and will work towards the merge as time allows, and then clean up the merged article. In the short term, I have added a reference to this article noting the merge of the leagues has happened, and renamed this article to reflect that. If you felt so inclined to perform the merge yourself, have at it, otherwise I will get to it when I can. Echoedmyron (talk) 00:05, 30 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
