Romanization[edit]

Please to stick to the Hepburn romanization, which is the de facto standard. "Eli" should be "Eri." "Nico" should be "Niko." "Kizaka" should be "Kisaka." 76.169.37.208 (talk) 23:48, 15 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is a common occurrence in Japanese words when a sound changes from it's non-voiced version to it's voiced or dakuten version; in this case, さ becomes ざ. You can see this happen in Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu, for instance. In any case, the Japanese wiki for the series specifically gives the pronunciation as Otonokizaka.--十八 04:40, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, coz the Japanese language hasnt got something for the russian "х", so the used h, which is the closest one (@least I think that.

Probably irrelevant in this article, as IDOLM@STER and Aikatsu! have them, but the articles don't mention it. I suppose if there was a way to build an entire deck around Love Live or the aforementioned series, it may be relevant. English Title[edit]

While the official logo is generally rendered without a space, it is otherwise referred to with a space by reliable sources, and NIS America: "Love Live! Suggest move List of Love Live! characters to separate article[edit]

Split Sunshine into its own article?[edit]

Given how the Sunshine anime is now airing, and given precedent articles like The Idolmaster and Pretty Cure, should the article be restructured into one about the franchise and split off the information on Sunshine into its own article? Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 06:47, 4 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Even if Sunshine got its own article, I think it's a little early to consider a franchise article when there is only Love Love and Sunshine (unlike Idolmaster and Pretty Cure which have over 10 separate games/anime). I agree with spliting. With current condition and that Sunshine has expanding as much as the original series, it would be a mess to keep them in one article.

Additional Characters from the iOS[edit]

This is a really stupid idea (and probably will be rejected), but with the giant amount of additional characters in School Idol Festival (who have profiles and self-introductions), could I add them into the character section? Love Live! → Love Live! School Idol Project – There was a short discussion earlier this year at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Anime_and_manga/Archive_73#Making_an_overarching_page_for_Love_Live!_as_franchise about creating a franchise page for Love Live! to serve as an overview of the entire series, since we're now getting to the point that things will be getting very complicated across the various series and games and how they relate to each other, kind of like The Idolmaster before that franchise page was created. So I drew up User:Juhachi/Love Live! which I believe is ready to go live now, but to do so would require moving this page to Love Live! School Idol Project which is the official title given to the first installment to the franchise, and then have Love Live! open for the franchise article. 十八 07:30, 10 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
