Rewrite Needed[edit]

Ive Noticed that this article is a bit confusing I really like articles to be in chronological order this article jumps from modern day information to back in the 1960's. It really just needs to be moved around a bit and also referenced as I stated earlier. --Pdesil (talk) 05:23, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Alternative layout: the "roval"[edit]

One thing that probably should be mentioned is that, in addition to the dragstrip, oval, and road course, there was another "roval" configuration used by IRP. It combined the normal oval with a dog-leg inside/bypassing turn 1, making a left just past the end of pit road, then a right, then a left back onto the oval between turns one and two (making oval turns 2, 3 and 4 roval turns 4, 5, and 6). It was used, as far as I know, only for the Fastmasters series in the summer of 1993, and measured 0.75 miles (1.21 km) in length. - The Bushranger One ping only 10:28, 12 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
