Titus James[edit]

I think he has returned, but not that sure. Can anyone confirm? --Fusion16 07:13, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have no idea, but you should not have edited it and then asked. Kevin McE 10:07, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
That edit is based on the last info I have on him, which says he returned to train with his uncle's team, which is in Malaysia. Plus, I couldn't find anything which said otherwise, so that's why I asked if anyone could confirm. --User:Fusion16 15:20, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Laser issue[edit]

to all bitter Indonesian fans, will all of you stop writing in your broken English to highlight some of the lies that came from your own mouths which is also heavily influenced by your typical culture of no self-dignity at all, okay. You Indonesian are typically whiny and are well known sore losers. So I'm not going to be surprised at all at any of your (that's you, Indonesian football fans) attitude.

Im writing fact not fiction. There's proof that Malaysian used laser during the finals, semi-final. There also a new about Malaysian using the laser on the match. go and search. Andy4190. by the way, im not indonesian. im american.
Dear Andy, your English grammar is way too messed up, hence either you are still under aged, or you are an American that have never went to school. Either way, the Malaysian keeper was bathed in laser during the first round match where they lost 4-1 to Indonesia, as well as the 1-2 loss in Jakarta during the final. There were even photographic proof of it printed in newspapers as well as in TV replays, such that with both sides doing the same thing it became a non issue.

Image copyright problem with Image:Malaysia FA.gif[edit]

The image Image:Malaysia FA.gif is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Most caps & top scorer[edit]

I just want to question the accuracy of the caps and goals count for Soh Chin Aun and Mokhtar Dahari as listed in the infobox. Both players aren't even listed in RSSSF's page for Players with 100+ Caps and 30+ International Goals. If that is really their total then perhaps not all the games played by Soh Chin Aun were full/official internationals and same goes for Dahari, not all goals he scored were in games that are full/official internationals. I think only official figures should be listed. Banana Fingers (talk) 17:41, 3 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Laser used by football Fans[edit]

Many who view the 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup finals had claimed that the Malaysian Fan were using Laser to blinded Indonesian Goalkeeper. This is also were the same as Vietnam, Vietnamese fans claimed that the Malaysian use laser to distracted and blind the Vietnam Goalkeeper. Laser is another big part of success in Malaysia football team at 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup. Andy4190 (talk ^^^ This is a fact.

Full Protection[edit]

{{editprotected}} This page have so many times been editing the wrong things about the article. This page should have a Full Protection. So I proposed that we have this page in Full Protection.

MNFT FC (MNFT FC)

Full protection is certainly not needed. There is some vandalism, so I did consider semi-protecting for a while. But there is a lot of constructive edits by unregistered users as well. So I would suggest no protection is warranted here. Please ask at WP:RFPP in future. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 23:06, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Confused[edit]

Hm, is that biggest defeat is real ?? It's looks likes unconstructive. Ah Cong Strike (talk) 05:25, 7 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see anything unconstructive on the surface. It looks like they've lost a number of games by six-goal margins, and the article lists all of them rather than picking one or a few of them. —C.Fred (talk) 05:29, 7 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I think we should only picking one of them as others team. — NZscout  12:32, 19 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It's been consensus at WP:FOOTY for a long time already that the 'Biggest win' AND 'Biggest defeat' sections in the infobox are determined by the margin! For Malaysia, ther biggest defeat is by a margin of six (6). It just happens to be that Malaysia has a lot of defeats by six! Banana Fingers (talk) 12:38, 19 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Weird, isn't Malaysia biggest defeat are by (8) with a match with New Zealand? — иz нίpнόp ʜᴇʟᴘ! 14:00, 22 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
What date was the match, and what was the final score? —C.Fred (talk) 14:03, 22 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
16 November 1967, Malaysia 2–8 New Zealand. — иz нίpнόp ʜᴇʟᴘ! 14:05, 22 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
That's a goal differential of 6. —C.Fred (talk) 14:07, 22 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I still didn't understand, so why it has a 7–1 defeat with China if it was determind by 6? — иz нίpнόp ʜᴇʟᴘ! 14:11, 22 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Because they've lost multiple matches by a six-goal margin, so they're all listed. —C.Fred (talk) 14:13, 22 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Weird, still can't understand it. Need someone who can explain it with a more specification to me. I only can understand the one on the South Africa national football team when it determind by (4) and all the four been listed. — иz нίpнόp ʜᴇʟᴘ! 14:21, 22 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, never mind. I finally got it with a help from Arctic Kangaroo. :) — иz нίpнόp ʜᴇʟᴘ! 14:24, 22 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong statistics[edit]

The team record for the 1986 FIFA World Cup qualification should be 2-1-1 (6:2 as the goal difference), at least based on the information provided in the 1986 World Cup qualifiers page. If someone could please correct it, as I am having some trouble locating the stats in the article. They seem to be automatically updated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.238.168.253 (talk) 19:24, 25 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You are correct. The stats can be seen here RSSSF link. Thank you for pointing it out. Lulusword (talk) 20:05, 25 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
