Note on Copyright of her book[edit]

Just a note, her autobiography was published in 1938 and the copyright was renewed in 1965 by her daughter Grace Legay. So the contents of the book (including several additional photos) will become public domain in 2033. --Krelnik (talk) 01:30, 28 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Note on her age[edit]

The name "Mary Sullivan" is so common that it is very difficult to find official records that correspond to her. Her book has scant details, doesn't even mention the names of her parents. Multiple later sources disagree on her age. Her book says she was 19 at her marriage in 1904 (e.g. born 1884 or 1885) but just a few lines later says she was 21 when her husband died in 1905. Some obits say she was 70, some 71 at her death in September 1950 (e.g. born 1878, 1879 or 1880). One wire article says she was 75 when she retired in 1946 (e.g. born 1871 or 1872) but NYTimes says 65 (1880-1881). --Krelnik (talk) 01:30, 28 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Note on Loxton page numbers[edit]

I have a scan of the Loxton source and the page numbers are 80-89 as printed, but via email Loxton informed me there was an error on the numbering in that issue of Skeptic so technically it should be pages 69-72. For citation I used the page numbers as printed. --Krelnik (talk) 01:30, 28 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
