???[edit]

Mmmm' G1M implies that this aircraft enterred service. Did it?. G1M means Attack Bomber 1 Mitsubishi:-the article says reconnaissance (which would be C, F or E). Is this the 'Mitsubishi 3MT5' (company desig.) a.k.a. 'Navy Type 93 Attack Bomber / Land based Attack Bomber'?

The G3M was developed as the Mitsubishi Experimental 8-Shi Special Reconnaissance Aircraft from 1933 for long range reconnaissance ops. It was a twin engined monoplane (unlike the 3MT5 (or Type 93 Land-Based Attack Aircraft), which was a biplane. The designation was changed before first flight to Experimental 8-Shi Land based Medium Attack Aircraft. Only one built - apparently not operational.Nigel Ish (talk) 09:57, 18 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I've just found something similar,
G1M Mitsubishi - 8-shi 1934/05 W2 5 - Long Range Research Plane. Different from 7-shi

Lets have your info incorporated in the article. Petebutt (talk) 10:58, 18 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
