Date of death ambiguity[edit]

As of Special:Permalink/1144699322 the listed date of death is August 3, 1986. This corresponds to the source https://www.racing-reference.info/owner/Nord_Krauskopf/.

Another source – https://web.archive.org/web/20121024213751/http://www.freewebs.com/danno340/kkd/epilogue.html – used in the article, however, lists a different year of death for Nord Krauskopf: Company founder Nord Krauskopf sold his interest in the K&K Insurance Company in the early '90's. He passed away in 1994.

The mention of "early 90's" is in conflict with a third source – https://roughnotes.com/rnmagazine/2002/march02/03p55.htm – Nord Krauskopf retired in 1980 as chairman and owner of K&K Insurance Group. [...] In 1984, Lincoln National Corporation purchased K&K.

Photo of his grave at https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/141576459/nord-w-krauskopf suggests that year 1986 is the correct year of death. —⁠andrybak (talk) 15:59, 31 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
