Meaning of Power[edit]

I have changed the word "power" from a link to the disambiguation page Power to an ordinary word, because there are several articles on the Power page that obviously do not apply (such as Electric power). Also, there is already a link to Power (sociology) in the article; it is not clear what other power-related article would be worth linking to.

Power (sociology) seems to be the only place where the concept of power is discussed, so it should be linked to that (although it's written "sociology", it includes other humanities.Lapaz 19:07, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with Lapaz that Power (sociology) would be the most appropriate link, but the article already has a link to that article in the same paragraph. The Manual of Style (links) makes this suggestion about links:

On the other hand, do not make too many links. An article may be considered overlinked if any of the following is true:

  • . . .
  • a link is repeated in the same article (although there may be case for duplicating an important link that is distant from the previous occurrence);

So my conclusion is to not create any additional links to the Power (sociology) article. Gerry Ashton 20:59, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

influence on anarcho-nihilism[edit]

this section is totally irrelevant. Anarcho-nihilism is such a ghost that none would ever claim to be such a weird hybrid of the will of power and the abolition of the state, an anarcho-nihilist, that none around and after Clastres claimed to be, except the scriptor of this section, I suppose. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.171.45.202 (talk) 10:16, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
