Red-light district[edit]

The embarrassing omission of Place Pigalle's almost archetypal and historically important status as a red-light district makes this read like an anxious whitewash from the Parisian Chamber of Commerce. The intent may be to enhance the city's reputation for honesty; the effect is the opposite. 50.48.51.225 (talk) 13:26, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
