Name pronounciation[edit]

Can anyone comfirm the part about his requesting the more traditional American pronounciation? We're well into the season now, and I still cannot recall hearing any of the Lakers' announcers, radio or TV, nor any of his teammates in their interviews, ever say his name any other way than rhyming with "pony". I guess it could be force of habit that's so far keeping them from being able to honor his request . . . but since I also never have heard about that request anywhere else but here, I'm beginning to wonder. Article editing[edit]

Turiaf's 'new' Team[edit]

Thanks, JXP, it keeps getting edited! But just to re-iterate it one more time to anyone else, Ronny Turiaf is NOT a Golden State Warrior. He was signed to an offer sheet for the Golden State Warriors, and because he is a restricted free agent, the Lakers have 7 days from the signing (July 9th, PT) to match the offer. If they do not match it, THEN he will become a Golden State Warrior.
