Sabata's Counterattack vs. Sabata's Revenge.

Sabata's Counterattack was the English name used by Kojima Productions on their Japanese webpage. Please don't change the title of the game.

Fair use rationale for Image:Shinbok.jpg[edit]

Image:Shinbok.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

Boktai 3: Sabata's Counterattack vs. Shin Bokura[edit]

The title 'Shin Bokura etc', while a direct Japanese translation, is not the best title for this article. Kojima Productions listed this game on its Japanese page as "Sabata's Counterattack" (this listing was removed when the page was revamped). Furthermore, the US release of Lunar Knights lists this game as "Boktai 3" within the game's soundtrack selection. From these two titles we can easily derive Boktai 3: Sabata's Counterattack as the title that Konami decided to use as the English localization, despite the fact that this game was never released in English. A good example of this style of naming can be seen with Capcom's Shooting Star Rockman (流星のロックマン, Ryūsei no Rokkuman), where the Japanese English localization does not match the American one (Mega Man Star Force). —Preceding unsigned comment added by LordHuffNPuff (talk • contribs) 15:18, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A brief mention of a planned project on a Japanese webpage is no reason to completely change the title of an article for a game that doesn't exist. Said project is as briefly mentioned in the article itself, so this is as appropriate as it can possibly be (though the mention of "Boktai 3" in regards to this game, in Lunar Knights, should be added). "Shooting Star Rockman" is the same way; it's an officially recognized translation of the Japanese name, and nothing more. It should never take precedence over a good romaji phrase when "Shooting Star Rockman" isn't actually used in the product's name (it's a "nickname", if you will).
