Early text[edit]

The track distances in the box at the bottom are clearly wrong. How can Williams Landing be closer to Flinders Street than Aircraft? 121.214.40.102 (talk) 12:33, 20 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

New Timetable for the Altona Branch.[edit]

There is a new timetale for this line, and all Altona shuttles are extend to Flinders Street. Could someone add that piece of info? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Techie3 (talkcontribs) 11:01, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Werribee railway lineWerribee lineWP:COMMONNAME swap with redirect ThylacineHunter (talk) 07:59, 17 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Note: redirects are ineligible to be current titles in move requests, and there is no need to list the redirect, Werribee line, to be swapped. A title swap will happen automatically if the Werribee railway line article is moved as proposed. P.I. Ellsworth , ed. put'er there 19:54, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Werribee line service, article is (or at least should) primarily be about a railway service, not a railway line. The railway lines on which the service operates are the City Loop and the Port Fairy railway line. Suggest alternative name to be clear that article is about a service. Bagufleat (talk) 03:57, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support Werribee line, oppose Werribee line service as per WP:COMMONNAME. Werribee line is the common name, as shown by [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]. Is "Werribee line service" a name that is used anywhere? Steelkamp (talk) 04:43, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Xtrapolis 2.0[edit]

Both this article and the Williamstown line article both suggest that the xtrapolis 2.0 are going to be introduced on both lines however there aren't any sources suggesting this. All sources I found (that include lines) only mention the Frankston, Craigieburn and Upfield lines

For some examples:

https://www.vic.gov.au/xtrapolis-modern-trains-modern-melbourne

https://www.railexpress.com.au/show-and-tell-for-xtrapolis-2-0-train-mock-up/

https://www.premier.vic.gov.au/melbournes-newest-trains-track-ahead

Even the wikipedia article for the X'Trapolis 2.0 have no mention of the Werribee/Williamstown lines NotOrrio (talk) 22:48, 31 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
