Tarand-e Bala Rural District (Persian: دهستان طارند بالا) is in Jalilabad District of Pishva County, Tehran province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Tarand-e Bala.[3]

After the 2006 National Census, Pishva District was separated from Varamin County in the establishment of Pishva County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Pishva as its capital and only city.[3]

There were 6,609 inhabitants in 1,663 households at the following census of 2011 in Tarand-e Bala Rural District.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 6,030 in 1,644 households. The most populous of its 17 villages was Tarand-e Bala, with 1,283 people.[2]
