[edit] Publication history
Terraxia was a "one-off" character created by writer Jim Starlin for the limited series Infinity Gauntlet #1 - 6 (July - Dec. 1991). The character was erased at the conclusion of the storyline and has not been seen since in Marvel continuity.
[edit] Biography
Terraxia is created by the Eternal Thanos while he wields the Infinity Gems, intending his creation to be the perfect friend and lover. Thanos creates Terraxia to spite the entity Mistress Death, who at the time is ignoring him. Terraxia also aids Thanos when the heroes of Earth confront him in a bid to strip him of the Gauntlet.
When the space pirate Nebula gains control of the Gauntlet, she maroons Thanos and Terraxia in space. This proves fatal for the character, who dies from asphyxiation as Thanos did not make her capable of surviving the vacuum of space. Nebula uses the Gauntlet to erase everything Thanos created, and Thanos realizes this would have wiped Terraxia from existence even if she had survived the rigors of space.[1]
[edit] In other media
Terraxia makes a cameo appearance in the Capcom arcade game Marvel Super Heroes (1995) and Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes
