Roopali Gera[edit]

Roopali Gera, often referred to as Roop, (26 February 1989) is an Indian Software Engineer and Artist, working mainly in Delhi, who is famous for her personality, sweet spoken, and people loving. She is the first person in Kochi Mobility to become the HR Spock.

She was born in Delhi NCR. Worked as the Chief Coordinator of “THE WALL JOURNAL” of ITM. Coordinated various events in College Festival (2007-10), being the Event Coordinator. Cleared the LEET Exam with 159th rank for admission in B.E. in ITM in 2007. Worked in “Election Campaigns” during Diploma in 2006-07. Participated in “Inter-College Competitions” for Art, Dance and College Fests. Awarded a Scholarship from a Singapore based MNC “SNS Foundation” during diploma in 2005. Stood for the post “School Prefect” and “Asst. Head Girl” in the elections held at school.

Passed “Council of Europe level B1 & B2” in the ESOL Examinations conducted by University of Cambridge in 2007-08. Attended certified professional course from Brainwave Solutions Pvt. Ltd. for the session 2003-04. Cleared United Nations Organization (UNO) examination for four consecutive years (2000-04).

Early years[edit]

Roopali's parents Mr. Gera and Mrs. Usha Kiran lived in Faridabad. She is the first child. She has a brother, Anuroop Gera (Madhur).

Education[edit]

She completed her Computer Science and Engineering from ITM Delhi in 2010[1]

TCS[edit]

Roopali joined TCS in December 2010. Went for training in Mobile application development in Thiruvanadapuram, capital of Kerala. She then posted first in Kochi Mobility development centre. She was very good developer for iPhone application.

Her Meithry contribution is regarded high by all its members. Her work as HR SPOC was considered as one of the best in Mobility Kochi. Her work in GEMSIS project is considered as one of the best work she did in iOS for Mobility Kochi. The project was declared zero error project. She was also a TCS Kochi Dance Club.

She got transfer to Delhi NCR region on 21 July 2012. Her dream of living with her mother and brother in Faridabad came true.

She is now working in Noida for another project. Her Current tasks include: A) Learning Android and developing application B) Help with Presales by working on proposals C) Understanding Business needs from the RFP.
