Reformed Baptists Edit

Hello.

Please could you tell me why what according to my research is the correct everyday word for 'soteriology', i.e. 'salvation', was deleted in the above-named article ? I maintain that people might skip the much less familiar word, and try to understand the article without researching the link; as is the way when people try to operate machinery without reading a manual. I have to ask because no explanation was given, and shouldn't like to return it without trying to understand why. Thanks. Heath St John.

I'll put it back, then. Please do tell me if you disagree why, as there could possibly be an opportunity to learn something. Regards. Heath St John Heath St John (talk) 14:13, 2 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

August 2021[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page List of Christian Nobel laureates has been reverted.
Your edit here to List of Christian Nobel laureates was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline. The reference(s) you added or changed (http://www.nndb.com/people/257/000099957/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Information icon Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Keith Mathison. Your edits could be interpreted as vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Prague does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Information icon Hello, I'm Ifnord. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Lord's Supper in Reformed theology have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Changin bulk descriptors needs discussion on the talk page. You also changes reference titles, obviously a global find and replace. Please don't do that. Ifnord (talk) 06:54, 10 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
