Message from Girum[edit]

Nice to hear from you. Hope we'll have a great semester. I'm excited about writing a Wikipedia poster. I have some reservation about picking topics. Syllabus is not very clear about that part. Hope we'll get more explanation as semester progresses.

Hi Girum! Just wanted to let you know that I was able to add a headline to your initial post! Aconch (talk) 22:58, 28 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Claiming an Article[edit]

Hi Cindy

I have read you post on the talk page of our group and attached my response. I have selected the Biosynthesis article. To select an article you first have to go to the summary and student section of the course page and add "Biosynthesis" in the article box next to you name. I believe that once you select it, the article main editors group name would to our group name. Galemu2 (talk) 03:49, 15 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I think we have lots of information on the talk page for "Article Selection Rational" section on our group page. Galemu2 (talk) 03:56, 15 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Girum, thank you for the message. I'll try to add the Biosynthesis article next to my name. I've also claimed "Biosynthesis" in the article table listed in the Unit 6 directions. I agree that we do have lots of information for our rationale in the talk page. I've already started a preliminary draft, which I'll post momentarily. For the sake having it in the "right spot", I'll disregard my previous request to post a rough draft in the talk page. I'll just post it directly in the group page. Please feel free to add any information that you think I've missed. Aconch (talk) 04:05, 15 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Unit 10 Progress status[edit]

Hello Cindy. Hope all is well. I think we are an effective team. We are about half way of the planned outline for the article improvement. And feel free to make some changes to any part of the article as you see fit. The next obvious sections will be about amino acids and proteins. Galemu2 (talk) 22:37, 15 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Girum! It's great to hear from you. I agree with you that these sections should be our next plan of action. If you start protein synthesis (e.g. add a paragraph), I can either edit and add on to your section, and that can be our submission for the unit or alternatively, you could start the protein synthesis unit, and I can work on making a polysaccharides section. Please let me know what works best for you. Thanks! Aconch (talk) 01:05, 16 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
