On what basis do you think you have the right to tell someone they cannot edit a Wikipedia page? The above page does not belong to you, nor does it belong to the school. It is an encyclopedia page about the school. Anyone is welcome to edit any page on Wikipedia, however you must abide by our policies and content guidelines. The guideline for that graphic in the upper right corner of the article (infobox school) says we do not list interim job holders. - Adam....Please stop and talk. This is a collaborative project. Bulling your preferred version of an article in will only lead to your editing privileges being suspended. Content is guided by guidelines, but is approved by consensus established on the article talk page. If you can foist a convincing argument as to why we should list the interim principal and superintendent on this article, when guidelines say we don't, perhaps a consensus could be formed. However, this is a binary question and there really isn't a place to compromise. So....you'd have to foist a mighty convincing arguement. Why are you reverting the more standard table? This format is used on almost every American Hockey League team and the majority of the ECHL as it gives more info on the playoffs, leagues, and the separation between OTLs and SOL (in this case, they never had any seasons with Ties as you keep reinserting). Chicago Blackhawks[edit]
Let me explain to you why your edit was removed. It was removed because its nothing but trivial material that is one of the best examples of recentism that I've seen in a very long time. In five or ten years no one is going to care that Chicago put a sticker on their helmets. Now I can understand why you might be upset that your edit was removed, but continually re-adding your edit is just going to get you blocked. Why can't I add the Chicago Blackhawks' new decal that they are wearing on their helmets for the entire playoffs? It follows the rules of that section of a new addition to their uniforms. It is factual and in the guidelines of wikipedia. Honestly it needs to be added as it's a new addition to the uniform. It tells everyone that they have added it as well to their uniforms.
- You have to remember that just because something is true and verified does not guarantee that it's encyclopedic or significant enough to warrant coverage. They did not change the uniform, they added a sticker to their helmets, something that teams do all the time.
- This is not a conversation about whether or not your edit is true, its a conversation about how relevant this is to the overall article. Now in situations like this, a lot of times we will look to similar articles to see what the relevant standard is. Even if you just read the same section in the other original six team's articles you'll notice that all five of them have nothing like what you're trying to add to this article. The reason for this, is because things like a decal are barely relevant on large scale when they happen and they lose what little relevance they had quickly thereafter. What do you have against the new "#WeSkateFor Equality" roundel patch on the helmets? It's a new patch on the uniform that is unique and they are wearing on an in-game uniform. Besides, I have contributed heavily in this section if you go back to the reversion edits of the original post for this jersey section on a few of these new uniforms from 2008-onwards..
- Editing someone's comments to make it appear out of context is frowned upon around here. Something else that is severely frowned upon, is using an IP address to try and hide your editing activity. At this point you have no counter argument and you're just here to push your viewpoint. It would be in your best interest to drop this and walk away, especially after the stunt you pulled earlier.
