Associated acts[edit]

You're adding Akon to a number of other artists' bios--like those of Lady Gaga and Lionel Richie--as an associated act. Without offering any explanations to support these changes, they don't appear very helpful. If you can't provide sources for these connections, would you please remove them? Otherwise I'll ask for input from other contributors. Thank you, 99.136.255.180 (talk) 12:17, 25 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

February 2012[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. 99.136.255.180 (talk) 12:22, 25 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Akon, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Kiko4564 (talk) 13:05, 25 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Akon, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Dangerous, I Wanna Love You and Just Dance (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Copyright violations[edit]

Your addition to Dangerous (Kardinal Offishall song) has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. You have inserted YouTube references to many articles. You must stop.--Bbb23 (talk) 01:23, 11 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

List of artists who have had number-one singles on the UK Official Download Chart[edit]

Hi there Akonjignal. Both "Lonely" and "Smack That" by Akon topped the UK Singles Chart, but neither topped the UK Official Download Chart. Please stop editing List of artists who have had number-one singles on the UK Official Download Chart to say that they did. I have reverted your edits again. Thanks very much. March 2012[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Akon. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.--Bbb23 (talk) 00:14, 16 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
