Speedy deletion nomination of Yoxi[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Yoxi, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Tom Morris (talk) 16:25, 14 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yoxi re-do Hi Sphilbrick,

Thank you very much for your feedback on Yoxi. I read the guidelines, and made the post as factual as I could, shortening it as much as possible, and adding as many hyperlinks in the method described on Wiki. Please let me know if this meets with your (and Wikipedia's) approval. And thank you for bearing with me, this being my forst post onto Wikipedia.

You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

The article Yoxi has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 03:41, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not for promoting Yoki[edit]

Responding to your comment at my talk page[edit]

Don't feel bad, refs are tricky. Until you get used to them, then they are easy, but until then, they can be tough. BTW, if you look at the code now to see what I have done, be aware I'm using a relatively new approach called WP:LDR citation style. Many editors haven't yet heard of it, but I think it makes the editable screen cleaner, so I like it. You sort of had four refs, but I think there was a duplicate, if I excised anything in error, let me know , and I'll fix it and or help you so you can learn. I trust you understands the draft still has a ways to go, but at least it now has some references.(Cross-posted to your talk page.)--SPhilbrickT 19:07, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
