Hi sinebot, I have always signed using four tilde sign after my entries. But don't know why you asked me to do that. I have always done that :) BetterSmile:D 03:35, 10 July 2017 (UTC)

Removing valid red links[edit]

Removing valid red links as you did here does not appear to me to be a productive "copyedit." Indeed, it's not a copyedit at all, it's a formatting change. Red links exist -- and should exist -- as a way to help the encyclopedia grow, when the topic appears to be notable. In the case of Rankin, he has a notability beyond this one film, as indicated at Special:WhatLinksHere/Matthew_Rankin. Please see Wikipedia:Red link for more information. Shawn in Montreal (talk) 15:14, 11 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

comment Yes sure. I was cleaning the page through unlinking such non functional red links. Will go ahead to try create articles for those notable red links in future. Thanks for the info BetterSmile:D 15:28, 11 July 2017 (UTC)
My advice to you, as a relatively new editor, is that when in doubt, leave such redlinks alone -- unless it's an egregious case. Red links are not "non functional." They serve a valid and important function. happy editing, Shawn in Montreal (talk) 15:31, 11 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Connection with User:Axomiya deka and User:Rafiqmarbaros[edit]

Can you please tell me your relation to these users? While I want to WP:AGF, I have suspicion based on the date of your account creation and edit history that you are somehow related to this user. Prior to reporting at WP:SPI, I was hoping you could dispel my suspicion. --CNMall41 (talk) 18:17, 11 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

'comment Hi CNMall41, I just now visited User:Axomiya deka and User:Rafiqmarbaros pages. I have no connection with them other than through wikipedia. I found User:Rafiqmarbaros edited in the discussion of Nipun Jaswal page and found User:Axomiya deka edited the page Rajdweep_(playwright_and_lyricist) where I too edited. Other than this I have no connection with these users. BetterSmile:D 01:26, 12 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
comment Also i found your edit in the Rajdweep_(playwright_and_lyricist) page. FIY as per the article , the person is working in Assamese daily Asamiya Khabar, not in Assam Tribune. Please note BetterSmile:D 01:57, 12 July 2017 (UTC)

Hello Bettersmiley. I saw your comment at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Stitching AKN and noticed that your signature does not include a link to your user or user talk page, which is required by WP:SIGLINK. Are you signing using four tildes (~~~~)? And is the "Treat the above as wiki markup" box in your user preferences ticked? If it is, you might want to try unticking it. Cordless Larry (talk) 06:53, 17 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hii Cordless Larry, I am using BetterSmile:D (talk) 07:01, 17 July 2017 (UTC) for signing. I have done what you suggested. Thanks BetterSmile:D (talk) 07:01, 17 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
That seems to have fixed things. You should stop getting SineBot notifiations now! Cordless Larry (talk) 07:02, 17 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

July 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, Bettersmiley. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. —SpacemanSpiff 09:43, 18 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Nucleus Premium Properties ltd[edit]

Hello Bettersmiley,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Nucleus Premium Properties ltd for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

NPP[edit]

Hi, it would probably be better for you to refrain from taking part in new pages patrol until you have more understanding of Wikipedia. All of these tags on one article is typically considered non-ideal. If you're interested in helping out with maintenance tasks on Wikipedia, consider the countervandalism academy. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. TonyBallioni (talk) 16:04, 31 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hii Tony,

Yeah sure. Thanks for the message. BetterSmile:D (talk) 16:07, 31 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Prashant Pandey[edit]

Please read WP:BRD, and discuss your changes on the talk page when others object to them. utcursch | talk 17:27, 31 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Why are you reinstating a dead link and reverting edits unnessesarly . You even removed relevant news reference links. This is unethical BetterSmile:D (talk) 17:28, 31 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
http://www.freepressjournal.in/pandey-was-blackmailing-vyapam-accused-had-links-with-stf/ is a dead link . You are reinstating it to give reference to something you wrote BetterSmile:D (talk) 17:31, 31 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I reverted your edits, because you added the claim that Pandey's version "was considered correct by the Apex court". Please see WP:BURDEN. If you are adding the content , it's your duty to provide a source for that claim. As mentioned in my edit summary, I've no problem with the content -- you are feel free to add it back with a source. As for the dead link, you can use {{dead link}} to point them out. utcursch | talk 17:32, 31 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Fursan (brand), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Blocked[edit]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for confirmed abuse of multiple accounts. Given the checkuser confirmed abuse of multiple accounts and your close ties to this paid editing sockfarm I have blocked your account. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I walk up morning with the message of the block. What i did is complaining about something that i saw unfair. My appeal is that i am not a sockpuppet, I found it says , i am a sockpuppet and there is checkuser evidence, i couldnt find the checkuser evidence in the investigation page. Please unblock. Even i was not given time to reply to the comments in the complaint section. I am helpless here. I want to be in wikipedia. I have not done anything which disrupt wikipedia's policy. Kindly understant. Thanks

Decline reason:

Sockpuppetry has been confirmed by checkuser, and also proven linkages to another paid editing sockfarm. In addition, there's obvious undisclosed conflict of interest (likely Paid COI) and advertising going on from this account, so I'm declining. —SpacemanSpiff 02:14, 23 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This blocked user is asking that their block be reviewed on the Unblock Ticket Request System:

Your draft article, Draft:Nipun Jaswal[edit]

Hello, Bettersmiley. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Nipun Jaswal".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Hhkohh (talk) 07:10, 9 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
