March 2017[edit]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Tom Holland (actor) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. The thread is Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:Bob2448 reported by User:Sro23 (Result: ). Thank you. Sro23 (talk) 18:15, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

3RR block[edit]

Hi. You've been blocked from editing for 36 hours due to violating the Three revert rule. Please be more careful in the future. El_C 18:25, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If people want to police Wikipedia like this then attention needs to be brought to Millie Bobby Brown, Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga and Brianna Hildebrand which all list pre-production projects. It's ridiculous to police two specific pages as being "in violation" when others get away with it no problem. Millie Bobby Brown, Kyle Chandler and Vera Farmiga don't even have revealed roles in Godzilla: King of the Monsters and yet they are allowed to exist. Fix this issue. --Bob2448 (talk) 18:34, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your attention in this matter. I have removed the pre-production films from the tables in the aforementioned articles. They are also on my watchlist so they can be removed if they are attempted to be re-added. If you see any more like that, please feel free to mention it on your talk page here, as I have added that to my watchlist as well. Thanks again, and happy editing! :) --Ebyabe talk - Union of Opposites ‖ 19:46, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
As the blocking admin pointed out WP:OTHERSTUFFEXITS is not an excuse to engage in edit warring. Remember Wikipedia is made up of volunteers who contribute where they can, as result not all articles are maintained at the same level.--TriiipleThreat (talk) 20:37, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

IMDB[edit]

December 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Yosemiter. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Seattle NHL team, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. April 2019[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Cities: Skylines. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 2 weeks for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  -- ferret (talk) 16:22, 17 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

June 2019[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Cities: Skylines. If you continue, you'll be indefinitely blocked. -- ferret (talk) 21:49, 3 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Nevermind, I see you're edit warring on other articles again as well. -- ferret (talk) 21:55, 3 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for edit warring.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  -- ferret (talk) 21:55, 3 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Compromised[edit]

As per UTRS appeal #63395, this account is considered WP:COMPROMISED. -- Yamla (talk) 15:58, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Yamla what does that even mean? Bob2448 (talk) 20:05, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You indicated you had someone else using your account. I've already pointed you to the relevant policies. --Yamla (talk) 21:34, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Yamla there is no need to be hostile. I am at work and asked you for clarification Bob2448 (talk) 22:05, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I already explained this to you in your UTRS request. --Yamla (talk) 22:06, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Yamla all you said was it's compromised? But I do not understand. please kindly explain without being rude Bob2448 (talk) 22:32, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You stated someone else had access to your account. You aren't permitted to allow that. Your account is now considered compromised. WP:COMPROMISED (and the related information page, WP:COMPACC) goes into more detail. As you have repeatedly been pointed there, I expect you to take the time to read those pages. --Yamla (talk) 22:37, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Yamla I have not asked you for any links. I am asking you to explain what compromised means in this context. Allowing my roommate to use my laptop in 2019 is not compromising anything. I am permitted to allow anyone I want to use anything I own at any time. You do not get to tell me what I am and not permitted to do. Explain what compromised means in this context. I have never once asked you to send me links so please stop being so rude and answer my very simple question. Bob2448 (talk) 01:31, 24 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No, you are not permitted to let other people use your account. As you are unwilling to read the policies and instructions provided, I will not respond further. --Yamla (talk) 10:08, 24 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Yamla Iam allowed to do whatever the fuck I want. You DO NOT fucking tell me what I am and can't do with my OWN FUCKING COMPUTER. Bob2448 (talk) 10:59, 24 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Wikipedia: The free encyclopedia that anyone* can edit! *Only the people we like in our little inner circle can actually use this site* Bob2448 (talk) 18:13, 17 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. PhilKnight (talk) 18:34, 17 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
