December 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Lee Kernaghan has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7QlNmaexDqE. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 11:56, 12 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Guy Pratt do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

www.bensorensen.com[edit]

Could you please stop adding external links to www.bensorensen.com? I suggest you read the content guideline on external links to get an idea of the sort of links that are useful here. In particular, you should have a look at the section on links normally to be avoided. Number 11 on the list is personal webpages like Mr Sorensen's. Grafen (talk) 12:33, 12 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm new to Wikipedia.. And would genuinely like to offer my interviews (posted on BenSorensen.com and youtube) for the benefit of others. If there is a better way to do this, that keeps inline with wikipedia's guidelines, please let me know. Bseaustralia (talk) 05:59, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

HELP WITH EXTERNAL LINKS[edit]

As you can see I'm rather confused. I have my radio, TV, and Print interviews with artists/celebrities posted on youtube & my website (with permission) and would like to share them with the wiki community as many of these artists pages have limited content.

My content is on radio and magazines round australia, and is used as a teaching aid in schools but this same content seems to be constantly deleted here on Wiki?

I'm not looking for back links or advertising dollars or spam - just sharing and preserving interesting and relevant interviews.. how can I do this without them being deleted?? Bseaustralia (talk) 06:14, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The short answer is, you can't - it has been decided that external links of this kind do not help the project, see the policy Wikipedia:External links, particularly WP:ELNO #11. JohnCD (talk) 08:32, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Ben Sorensen's REAL Country Tamworth Banner 2014.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for discussion. Please see the discussion to see why it has been listed (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry). Feel free to add your opinion on the matter below the nomination.

ATTENTION: This is an automated, bot-generated message. This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 23:50, 31 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
