I added source for your request but I am Ian Gillan fan from 1985. I will make modifications if you speak what you are dissatisfied with concretely. Nothing wrong with having an opinion, and it's good to see someone else on board. All I would say is if you strike out something with a summary of "unnecessary", it's a bit difficult to know what the exact rationale is. I'll have a spin through the lead later today and check things all match up. On the specific case of weight towards Purple, my opinion is that because that's what he's best known for, that's where the balance goes. This is one of the things that should be sorted out in the GA review. Ian Gillan Band (1976-1978) had some success in Japan. However at least, Gillan band (1979-1982) achieved success commercially in the U.K.. It was extremely important to his musical career. See Gillan_(band)#Discography section. GIllan said Accidentally on Purpose album made with Roger Glover was the his personal favorite in his whole musical career, the one song "Lonely Avenue" was used on the soundtrack to Rain Man film featuring Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise. I think his two solo albums Naked Thunder (1990) and Toolbox (1991) were necessary as midway point of progressing musical process to current Purple with Steve Morse. --Btbas (talk) 10:26, 5 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
