Curious.......[edit]

You recently deleted a user from the WikiProject Caribbeanparticipant's list (the diff is here) after adding your current user name. Unless you are that user, you really shouldn't be removing that user's name. If you are that user, then you must be returning as a sock puppet and under a new user name. As you may already know, sockpuppetry in Wikipedia is not allowed. Another issue is that the user you deleted from the project is a banned user. It's my understanding that when a user is banned, they are not to return to edit Wikipedia under another user name. Any reasonable explanation for why you deleted the username from WikiProject Caribbean and whether or not you are employing the use of sockpuppetry would be appreciated. Thank you, Lhb1239 (talk) 03:24, 20 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Apologizing[edit]

I do apologize if I caused any trouble at all by deleting Uniongreen112. As you have guessed, that was my old username. I use to use it months ago, but stoped after awhile. I honestly forgot my old password when I restarted using wikipedia. If there's anything elese you would like to know, then I would be happy to oblige. Dannyboybs18 (talk) 10:37, 19 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your honesty. It's not a good idea to sock, though -- especially since you were previously banned. Just saying...... Lhb1239 (talk) 03:43, 20 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed File:EstherRolle.jpg which you added to Afro-Bahamian with this edit, because it does not have a valid non-free media use rationale for the article. Please see Wikipedia:Non-free content for the applicable policy and Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline if you want to address the issues. Thank you. Parliament diagram[edit]

Hi Danny,

It's fixed now; I'm not sure what was wrong with it, but when I tried downloading it from the server, it was just fine. Sorry I don't have a better explanation. --Slashme (talk) 15:38, 4 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, OK - I've just figured it out after going through the first diagram you uploaded: there was an extra quotation mark at the party name "PLP". Maybe I have to upgrade my code to strip out quotation marks in the input? Thanks for the bug report! --Slashme (talk) 16:04, 4 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Here's a suggestion on how to use it. You can cut, paste and edit the text here: [[File:Bahamas_House_of_Assembly_Seats.svg|thumb|right|Makeup of the Bahamas House of Assembly. {{legend|#FFD700|Progressive Liberal Party: 29 seats}} {{legend|#8B0000|Free National Movement: 9 seats}}]] --Slashme (talk) 16:11, 4 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

(re your message on my talk page) Glad to help! --Slashme (talk) 07:59, 5 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for June 28[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Community Council of Ministers, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Fiscal (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Invitation to wikiFeed[edit]

Hi Dannyboybs18,

I'm part of a team that is researching ways to help Wikipedia editors find interesting content to contribute to Wikipedia. More specifically, we are investigating whether content from news sources can be used to enhance Wikipedia editing. We have created a tool, called wikiFeed, that allows you to specify Twitter and/or RSS feeds from news sources that are interesting to you. wikiFeed then helps you make connections between those feeds and Wikipedia articles. We believe that using this tool may be a lot of fun, and may help you come up with some ideas on how to contribute to Wikipedia in ways that interest you. Please participate! To do so, complete this survey and follow this link to our website. Once you're there, click the "create an account" link to get started.

For more information about wikiFeed, visit our project page. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask via my talk page, or by email at wikifeedcc@gmail.com. We appreciate your time and hope you enjoy playing with wikiFeed!

List of Bahamian Flags[edit]

Hi,

Thanks for your work on the List of Bahamian Flags. I noticed there's a gap in the list between the last colonial flag, listed as in use from 1953-1964 and the present flag, used from 1973 To the present.

I'd appreciate it if you could fill in this gap.

Thanks --SteveMcCluskey (talk) 13:55, 1 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
