The article Caia Mei has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

the claims are completely unsourced

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Caia Mei and other stuff[edit]

Hello,

The Proposed deletion notice gave you until the 9th, but administrator Jimfbleak decided to speedily delete the page, without giving you notice. (He/She shouldn't have done this, in my opinion, and I have left a note for him here). You may request undeletion here, but you should probably talk to User talk:Jimfbleak first. Also, you can type in {{help me}} on your page to get help from someone much more experienced than me.

Good luck, and thank you for contributing articles.

Caia Mei[edit]

You know what, this is exhausting. The Chinese documents I have, but I don't particularly want them on the Internet for anyone to edit. I didn't realize that ANYONE can edit anything on Wikipedia. Also, I only have a hard copy so I would need to scan and upload and there isn't (that I can find) a way for me to upload anything at this point. I'm certainly not going through all the trouble of doing so just to have it all deleted again.

Ok, first off, so CESD is a prestigious agency and has been noted as such by many.

http://www.fasttopten.com/list/top-ten-talent-agencies-in-la (take a look at #10 and #2 (she's with both). CESD represents tons of major celebrities. And the link was the FIRST thing I found when doing a Google search just now.

AND.... from CESD's own website: http://www.cesdvoices.com/divisions/about/HomePage/none (they use prestigious as well) first line on "About Us" so how is that an unsourced claim? I just don't get it. Englishyankee (talk) 18:22, 5 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for message. I deleted your article because

  • It was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. Examples of unsourced claims presented as fact include: prestigious (agency)... gifted visual artist... has established herself... like to implement her talent... The book is a touching story... academically gifted... 4th and 5th grade curriculum in most subjects... the highest level obtained ... has had the privilege... inspired by life... — it's a press release, not an encyclopaedia article.
  • Links to her agent, agency and YouTube are just spam.
  • You did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that she meets the notability guidelines.

Incidentally, if you do recreate, note that references don't have to be in English, we have many Chinese speakers Jimfbleak - talk to me? 05:15, 5 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
