"What part of this don't you understand?"

There is only one part I don't understand.

That part is that the only edit I made on the Crucial Conflict page was changing "they are currently working on a new album Planet Crucon" to "they recently released Planet Crucon". The album was released back in January 2008 and the article said they were still in the studio finishing it. The disambiguation pages I made have been on Bone thugs, Souljah Boy and Souljah boy (2 different articles) and I'm about to make William Lyons (rapper) a page of its own. I'm sick of the Wikipedia vandalism/unconstructive edits warnings. Anyone who has any information to submit that may be a true or false fact should not be regarded as a vandal. A Tale Of Two Pictures!

I don't understand why you think i'm trying to bury the picture. All i have been is accommodating and polite and have tried to work this out amicably.

Looking at other Wikipedia pages there are NONE i repeat NONE that i have seen the have two pictures of the artist right next to each other like this.

I'm simply trying to keep the page looking neat and tidy but still accommodating peoples changes. I don't see why you and holly seem to be trying so hard to fight me on this. It's not a battle. I'm not from some big corporate organization that you need to "take down" haha. Im just trying to make a nice looking wikipedia page for goodness sake!

Please can we all just relax on this subject.

If you like i can create the "more pictures" section directly below the "biography" section. That way it's still at the top of the page and highly visible, but is neatly placed in its own section.

Be cautious about defining vandalism

Hi, just a small course correction note: I noticed that you warned an anon with a strong vandalism warning,[1] for their change to Black Mesa (game mod).[2] However, that doesn't look like vandalism to me, it looks like a content dispute. The word "vandalism" should be reserved for blatant cases, such as page blanking or profanity. See WP:VANDAL. Whether the article refers to the mod in past or present tense, is really a content issue. I recommend that talkpage consensus be used to determine how the article should be handled. But edit-warring and accusations of vandalism, are not the right way to proceed. See also Wikipedia:Dispute resolution. I am here to ask for your help. I do not know where to start, but I'd like some administrator to stop Skanter and his unnecessary articles. Take a look at his brand new article: South American Brazilian. This is a complete non-sense.

Read the description: "South American Brazilian (Portuguese: Brasileiro Sul-Americano) is a Brazilian person of full, partial, or predominantly South American ancestry, or a South American-born person immigrant in Brazil".

How can a Brazilian person not be a South American?

Also, the brand new Mexican Brazilian article, with a mere 1,100 Mexican Brazilians alive.

The newst: North American Brazilian. There's already an article to talk about North Americans in Brazil, Confederados.

Me and other users agree that all these Scandinavian Brazilian, Scottish Brazilian‎ or Maltese Brazilian must be deleted. Despite these are very small and invisible ethnic groups in Brazil, his articles are small, have no informations and his sources are frequently not corrects, like the ones claiming 300,000 Danish in Brazil, which is a complete non-sense. redirection of "Half life" to Half-life (disambiguation)

I'm not sure why you did this. Half life used to go to the article about the scientific and mathematical term Half-life. Now most of the pages linking to Half-life (disambiguation) should be going to Half-life just as they were doing before you change the redirect of Half life. When this image was originally uploaded it was used in the character list article List of characters from The Wire and included a fair use rationale for that article. Since that time the character Michael Lee was broken off into its own article Michael Lee (The Wire) and the content, including the picture, was moved to the new page. Apparently the page justifying Image:The Wire Michael.jpg had not been updated to reflect that move as the fair use rationale was still pointing to the old article. It was not an unjustified use- it was just a link that needed updating. I went ahead and made the change.JeffStickney (talk) 16:01, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

I assume that it's irrelevant that as a "user" his only contributions to any page thus far have been the 72 font NIGGER. Which he did on at least 5 occassions. Since I am not aware of any policies (being fairly new to editing) or guidelines to block "users" who contribute "ineffectively". Just revert my edit to his page if it offends you so much and I will never contribute again. Skanter and his possible IP's

I'm almost sure Skanter also uses many different IP's to do vandalism around.

I noticed some IP's do the same things he does in wikipedia: erase tags for deleting those unecessary articles of ethnic groups in Brazil, inflate the numbers of White ethnic groups in Brazil[4][5] and erase informations about non-whites.[6], and create imaginary number of certain ethnic groups in Brazil.[7]

Is it a vandalism to use IP's to hide the identity and do vandalism? How can we discover if Skanter is really using these IP's. Opinoso (talk) 03:01, 10 July 2008 (UTC)


I'm pretty sure this IP ([189.105.145.10] is Skanter. Notice he has been working in the same nonsense Skanter's articles of Brazilian ethnic groups (such as Finnish Brazilian or Czech Brazilian‎).

Finnish Brazilian is full of unsourced pictures, tipically posted by Skanter.

He also grows the number of "White" ethnic groups in Brazil, trying to claim Brazilians are composed mainly by European immigrants, the same way Skanter does. As Skanter, he also put "Pardo (mixed)", when I already explained Skanter several times Pardo is not the same as mixed, but he keep changing it with his IP's.

This IP is obviously Skanter. Both are obssessed with "White-washing" Brazil. This is a shame, I feel some "racist" stuff in his posts and all those several European-Brazilian ethnic groups articles created by him.

I saw you reinstated TAG of "reference needed" in a particular sentence on this Portuguese footballer's article. I was the one to remove it, feeling it was explained in a reference below. Now, i have done some work in the article, relocating the REFERENCE below ALSO above, because stories (transfer to ROMA) are intimately related (see reference "ROMA RESCUES ANTUNES").

I know that refs are in ITALIAN, but i thoroughly read through that internet article and hope it is well explained now, with some storyline additions by me, not to compromise what is said in aforementioned reference. Also, i have been in WIKIPEDIA for almost 2 years, and know refs in foreign languages are common pratice.

Logo images with missing rationales

If you come across any logos with missing fair-use rationales, it would be helpful if you could add a rationale using {{logo fur}} to the image's description page. The problem with tagging an image as {{di-no fair use rationale}} is that the original uploader may not see or understand the warning. If you add a rationale yourself, then the project keeps the logo and is better off than if the logo was deleted. --Eastmain (talk) 23:45, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

WOT: Web of Trust free-software project tag

Geniac you added a tag to Talk:WOT: Web of Trust indicating it fell in the remit of the free/libre software WikiProject. I believe from article and clarification provided by editors working on behalf of WOT that it's actually proprietary. The licensing is available here and gives only a right to use the executable - not the source code. This is just FYI. Why did you delete Nirvana?

Nirvana content in page of Sardar Vallabhai National Institute of Technology is not copy paste content. What ever was written was true, good and original. It may match with some content in Nirvana's pages present in www.svnit.ac.in, but that too is original and posted by us. The content you deleted was necessary as Nirvana is a quitessential part of student of svnit (Just like Mindbend and Sparsh). I would request you to undo your actions.
