Disambiguation link notification for January 7[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Sajed.ir[edit]

The problem is that I don't know if we can trust sajed's GFDL statement: I think they may have been unintentionally engaging in license laundering. For instance, I found some of the sajed.ir pictures on habilian.ir, without the sajed.ir watermark. That indicates that the pictures did not originate on sajed. DS (talk) 12:29, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@DragonflySixtyseven: But sajed.ir in older than Habilian.irHananeh.M.h (talk) 12:34, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe, but the copies on Habilian don't have the watermark. That indicates that Sajed and Habilian both got the photos from the same (third) source, and that Sajed added a watermark but Habilian didn't. DS (talk) 12:45, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@DragonflySixtyseven:maybe Habilian got the photos from Sajed.ir Hananeh.M.h (talk) 12:48, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, that's not really plausible. If Sajed is willing to give unwatermarked versions of the photos to Habilian, why wouldn't Sajed be willing to distribute unwatermarked versions of the photos to everyone? Why doesn't Habilian credit Sajed as their source (as required by the GFDL)? DS (talk) 13:08, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@DragonflySixtyseven: If Habilian does not respect to law this is it`s problem not Sajed.ir problem!!!Hananeh.M.h (talk) 13:16, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You're ignoring my main point: if Sajed was willing to give out unwatermarked versions of the photos to Habilian, why would they not give out unwatermarked versions to everyone? The only logical conclusion is that Habilian got the unwatermarked versions from the same source that Sajed did, and that Sajed therefore is not the legitimate source of the photographs. DS (talk) 14:43, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@DragonflySixtyseven: This question has been asked from Sajed.ir and I am waiting for the answer. but about PD-Iran I know about photos, according to "Law for the Protection of Authors, Composers and Artists Rights, 1970" in Iran, after 30 years, photos are no longer supported by this law. your speech was correct about another documents not photos. Hananeh.M.h (talk) 06:58, 11 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please mention that -- PD-Iran, etc etc -- on the deletion page for those images, okay? Thanks. DS (talk) 17:52, 11 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Mahdaviat is a disambiguation page, not an article. Is there an article on that page you want to point to, or do you want to point to the disambiguation page? -Niceguyedc Go Huskies! 21:39, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Battle of Karbala[edit]

Information icon I am rather concerned that you and anther editor may be about to engage in an edit war over the section on Sermons during the journey from Karbala to Damascus in the article on the Battle of Karbala. It looks as if each of you have done one revert already. Please could we discuss this on the article talk page, where there is a discussion - see Talk:Battle of Karbala#Aded the Sermons and separate.-- Toddy1 (talk) 12:42, 11 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Toddy1: When a user deleted my edits on that article yesterday, I respected him and changed and briefed the seromns.Hananeh.M.h (talk) 12:55, 11 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

And I have not edited the page since then. I have a concern that too much quoting of primary sources is being done in the article. The article also has several unsourced statements that are pro- Hussein and/or anti-Yazid. That doesn't mean they are wrong, but they are unsourced. Edward321 (talk) 17:34, 11 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Edward321:I made a mistake my meanning was whit sources not unsoursedHananeh.M.h (talk) 18:02, 11 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your question about Wikimedia Commons deletions[edit]

Greetings Hananeh.M.h.: To reply to your question about why images of Ashrafi Esfahani were deleted... the answer to that is here on your Wikimedia Commons talk page. The files you uploaded were from other websites, not your own work; hence most of them were "speedy deleted" whilst others were/ or will be/ nominated for deletion. Cheers! Adoption[edit]

Hi, I see you're looking for "adoption". I'm not part of that programme, but I find your edits interesting, so if you have any questions, please ask. FunkMonk (talk) 13:03, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
