License tagging for File:Carmen Jones (Bass poster).jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Carmen Jones (Bass poster).jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. Adra position[edit]

We have two industrial areas on the map, this and this marked as the Adra industrial area west of the residental area, and then the Ramadan Industrial Area to its east. And how i edited it, its the correct geographical localization. So please self-revert your last edit, or think of a better display of the region, since there is often confusion about this. OberschIesien90 (talk) 20:45, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

ObershIesien90, thanks for explaining to me why you switched the position of Adra and Adra Industrial City. I was not aware that there was ambiguity on Wikimapia about the location of Adra Industrial City. I do think (but am not sure) that the change I made was the correct one. On the Syria Conflict Map talk page Hanibal911 posted a couple of pro-rebel and pro-regime maps showing the location of the Industrial City, pro opposition and pro government, which both show the Industrial City to be to the East of Adra.
Also the map of Adra/Adra Industrial in the recent Russia Today news video video report at 1:17 about the seige of those two areas, shows the Industrial city to be to the East of Adra. If you have other information, feel free to share it here or on Conflict Map talk page. You have made me aware that part of the confusion about the status of this area might stem from the fact that people are talking about different areas. Hulahoop122 (talk) 21:47, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Our map is (with few exceptions) based on absolute position, not this sort of relative guesswork that you're trying to do. The latitude and longitude of the positions you keep switching are the only "other information" that should be needed here. Enter them into a satellite imagery service like Wikimapia, and you'll see that you keep putting the "industrial area" where the residential part of the town actually is. Our map already has the larger industrial city located to the east of Adra marked—the position you're getting it confused with is the smaller industrial areas to the west. ~~ Lothar von Richthofen (talk) 08:59, 31 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
So if this clear, i will change the positions back to normal soon. OberschIesien90 (talk) 16:04, 3 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
ObershIesien90, yes please do that. Thanks, Hulahoop122 (talk) 01:40, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Saul Bass, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Continental and Avery. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
