Image without license[edit]

Unspecified source/license for Image:Christiaan Bakkes.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Christiaan Bakkes.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

af:Beeld:Wyomingwindfarm.jpg[edit]

Hello, I just copied the Image:Wyomingwindfarm.jpg file to commons:Image:Wyomingwindfarm.jpg, which makes the af:Beeld:Wyomingwindfarm.jpg file redundant. You will probably want to use the Commons file in af:Wyoming. It looks like the version on the Afrikaans Wikipedia is at a lower resolution. If you need to use an image from the English Wikipedia, the best method is to move the image to Commons rather than upload a separate copy to the Afrikaans Wikipedia. I would put a {{NowCommons}} template on the af: copy of the image, but I do not speak the language and I don't want to screw something up. --Teratornis (talk) 09:39, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Carissimo amico, potremmo fare uno scambio di cortesie?[edit]

Carissimo, innazitutto ti saluto dall'Italia.

Done sorry of the regrettable one lateness that have done! Tomorrow I will translate in my sicilian dialect!--Lodewijk Vadacchino (talk) 20:27, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mississippi[edit]

Hello, Jhendrin. I am really sorry for the delay! I was not present for almost four/five days. But now I'm back with full energy! Regarding Mississippi: You also have an authority to change the articles if you have seen any error on them. I hope you know the rule of the Wikipedias, isn't it? One man can start an article, but many men can correct/add something on the artcles! What I meant is: if you are going to change it, there's nothing you can do to jeopardize it! I hope you understand my damn English, I will definetely go and change it right away! Cheers.--Mwanaharakati(Longa) 08:32, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

By the way. I have seen many of your post didn't show the signature. A signature will write a date of the day which you post, along with the time! To add signature, please write four tildes as it's shown bellow:
  • --~~~~

That will show your signature and timestamp! Cheers.--Mwanaharakati(Longa) 08:41, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Done Now you can reach where you were prefered to! Mississippi has changed to appropriate place. Cheers.--Mwanaharakati(Longa) 11:45, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Are you there?[edit]

Hello, Jhendin. I have not see you being active on the Swahili Wikipedia for almost three/four days. Are you there? Just to say holla to you. Cheers.--Mwanaharakati(Longa) 09:03, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Jhendin. Even English is also a wonderful language! I am really eager to know more your language, but I'm getting too many obstacles (particulaly when there is no one who can help me out to align my sentence!) In that case, I will stay a hundred years to master this language. As far as I know, you've already made a big step on/in? Kiswahili. There's nothing more I can say, but thanks for your contribution on the Swahili Wikipedia!! Siku njema.--Mwanaharakati(Longa) 13:22, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Categorisation on szl.wiki[edit]

Hello

About Kategoria:Stany Zjydnoczůne - we don't give parent categories to articles, 'cause it doesn't make any sense - should we add Kategoria:Půłnocno Amerika (Category:North America), Kategoria:Amerika (Category:America) and Kategoria:Źymja (Category:Earth) to, for example szl:Wyoming too?

Redirects on gv.wiki[edit]

Hi Jhendin,

thanks for the new entries on gv.wiki. Just a quick request: when you create an article with diacritics or characters outside the standard 26-letter alphabet, could you also add redirects to a simple alphabetic version of the name? E.g. you can see that gv:chaghteraght redirects to gv:çhaghteraght because users can't always easily type ç. So for example, if you could add Runavik and whatever the usual Romanisation is for Syðrugøta‎ (Sydrugota? Sydhrugota?), that would be great. Maybe you were going to add them later; I just thought I'd mention it. -- Shimmin Beg (talk) 16:24, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for the reply. I'll check with MacTire what he's doing - I seem to have extrapolated from our habit of redirecting ç (the only unusual letter in Manx), but it looks like something we should discuss. Sorry about that. -- Shimmin Beg (talk) 08:03, 14 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I've discussed it with MacTire and we agreed that some form of redirect would be helpful for people without easy access to complex letters. We've added a section in the manual of style (gv:Wikipedia:Laue-lioar aght screeu/Baarle for the English version) but it's a work in progress, just something I ran off as a starting point. You're welcome to contribute or comment. So far as I can tell, the English wiki just uses redirects, but if they have some kind of clever coding going then it'd be good to nick it. -- Shimmin Beg (talk) 13:52, 14 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, would you be so kind as to give us support![edit]

Hello, I hope you're doing fine and I sincerely apologize for this intrusion. I've just read your profile and you seem a very learned person and interested in (small) languages so maybe I am not bothering you and you will help us... I'm part of an association "Amical de la Viquipèdia" which is trying to get some recognition as a Catalan Chapter but this hasn't been approved up to that moment. We would appreciate your support, visible if you stick this on your first page: Wikimedia CAT. Thanks again, wishing you a great summer, take care! Capsot (talk) 16:37, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Interwiki add-ons[edit]

Do you work on those versions of Wikipedia that you add links from? If you do, all you need to do is add [[en:Article name]] to that version's article, and the bot will add all the remaining interwiki links. Your work is flooding my watchlist. —HXL's Roundtable and Record 21:24, 19 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for November 12[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Jens Jensen (landscape architect), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Slesvig (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Wikidata and Interwiki links[edit]

You are receiving this as you have recently added an interwiki link to a page!

Wikidata has been deployed to the English Wikipedia. Wikidata manages interwiki links on a separate project on pages such as this. This means that on Wikipedia articles there is now a language bar on the left hand side of your screen where you can edit and add links rather than adding them into the articles themselves.

If you have any questions regarding Wikidata please use the talk page Wikipedia talk:Wikidata. Dawnseeker2000 15:58, 23 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

June 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Scottish Gaelic may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
