October 2021[edit]

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Michael Faraday, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 12:32, 5 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your thread has been archived[edit]

Hi K00la1dx! The thread you created at the Wikipedia:Teahouse, Can I talk to someone who has read Oliver Heaviside's electromagnetic theory??, has been archived because there was no discussion for a few days.

You can still read the archived discussion. If you have follow-up questions, please create a new thread.

Incivility to other users[edit]

I've now had enough of your repeated incivility to other editors. Any more comments like this one attacking me for not being English (or any other personal attacks on the motivations of other editors) is going to result in an immediate block of your account. January 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Constant314. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Oliver Heaviside, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. You need a reliable source if you are going to attribute something to a person. Constant314 (talk) 15:41, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I need a reliable source? Even if the person is DEAD? I would like you to know that the source "The Forgotton Genius of Oliver Heaviside" is not a reliable source. Reliable sources do not want to touch Oliver Heaviside. It is just too easy to say "why don't we just tap the ionosphere for our 'green' energy needs. Then we won't have to pay a carbon tax. These people on Wikipedia trying to block discussion on Heaviside are either very stupid or very evil. K00la1dx (talk) 09:37, 4 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have a reliable source (The Forgotten Genius of Oliver Heaviside) Apparently some characters on Wikipedia block legitimate sources based on their own original research. K00la1dx (talk) 16:36, 26 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Unless Spinningspark admits to be either stupid or evil there is no insult K00la1dx (talk) 08:05, 5 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Since you are doubling down on the attacks in this very request, I am declining it and extending the block. 331dot (talk) 10:19, 5 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

etiquette and manors[edit]

Wikipedia claims to be unbiased and neutral. What religion or beliefs are the basis for these rules on manors? There really is a conspiracy that discussion surrounding Oliver Heaviside is suppressed on Wikipedia. What is the natural course of action but to insult the people doing it? Then you bring up, manors? Is Christianity the basis for these manors? Just like displacement current no longer is displacing an ether, the shell behind the belief is still there. I do not even know what this is "free and open source encyclopedia." K00la1dx (talk) 10:57, 5 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

To answer your question, your alternative to insulting people is to abide by the guidelines at WP:TPNO. Discuss the issues, not the editors (and that includes supposed conspiracies of editors). If you continue to make insults or post rants while you are blocked, I will take away your ability to edit your own talk page. The only thing you should be discussing while you are blocked is the block itself. SpinningSpark 16:49, 5 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Aye or Nay? It seems in the beginning of the Oliver Heaviside article you give your 'aye'
Then you do a 180 U turn and say he had nothing to do with the development of reactance. '
Well, which one is it?
Is Oliver Heaviside an uneducated hack? Or did he come to great things?
Forcing people out of their AYE and forcing into NAY. This Wikipedia kind of force is really misrepresenting the Anglo Saxon.
And BTW the Oliver Heaviside article is terrible. Is this how the English honor their heroes? K00la1dx (talk) 01:46, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You seem like an educated lad. please consider me:
I only wanted to edit the wiki on Samuel Tolver Preston.
Some uneducated person in regards to science decided (unfamiliar with science) to delete my post. I tried using a credible source to back up what I was trying to say but he insisted that it was no good. Anyways, the entire article on Dr. Preston is unsourced. So I do not know why he decided to pick on me. Lots of stuff gets posted on Wikipedia without a source.
Why don't you head over to the Dr. Preston article, and tell me how it already doesn't completely already say that Dr. Preston discovered E=mc^2 using his own interpretation of relativity and special relativity 5 years before Einstein was even born.
K00la1dx (talk) 16:40, 1 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
"Some uneducated hack" is a wp:personal attack. I stopped reading your response at that point. Don't do that, unless you want to get blocked. Next time the block will probably be indefinite. - DVdm (talk) 16:48, 1 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

    3. will make useful contributions instead.
