Wizard rock task force proposal[edit]

The idea of a Wizard rock WikiProject was proposed almost two years ago. Now that there are two more bands and a few more Harry and the Potters releases with articles, it would benefit to have a wizard rock task force. There just thirteen articles related to wizard rock, however the task force will not only be a place that improves these articles, but will also be a place to gather sources, build new articles in collaborative sandboxes and discuss uploading the mass of photographs related to wizard rock to WikiCommons (from Flickr). The task force will be under the umbrella of WikiProject Harry Potter.

To get involved within the task force or discuss it, see here. Alex Douglas (talk) 10:00, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

"The only confusion was, I think we all thought they were women. Kim was obviously a woman, but they all had this shaved-headed, pretty, soft look. And there were lots of lesbian bands at the time, and we always got booked with them, so we just thought the Pixies were another, like maybe they were like angry divorcees or somthing that formed a band.'" - Kristin Hersh

Nintendo task force membership update[edit]

Hello,

It's that time again to update membership status with the Nintendo task force, which we try to do every 3-4 months (though it's been actually 6 months since the last one) to keep our membership up-to-date.

All participants have been placed on an "Inactive participants" list. To confirm that you're still a member of the Nintendo task force, simply go to Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Nintendo#Members and move your name from the "Inactive participants" list to the bottom of the "Active participants" list. If you are no longer an active member in the task force, you may simply remove your name altogether. After 1 month, on 1 April 2010, all entries under the "Inactive participants" list will be removed. Hopefully you can stay with us and continue to work on Nintendo-related articles. Regards, –MuZemike 17:29, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
