I am Keithbob and I have been editing Wikipedia for some time, so if you have any questions feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that will automatically produce your username and the date. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! KeithbobTalk 19:44, 18 November 2013 (UTC) Thanks, Keithbob. Any explanations about talk pages? I am getting confused about how to respond to people's posts :-) Karen Middlefield (talk) 20:03, 18 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Burnaby Citizens' Association[edit]

Hello Karen Middlefield,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Burnaby Citizens' Association for deletion, because it's too short to identify the subject of the article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Jawwad Durrani Talk to me 08:03, 16 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Derek Corrigan[edit]

Karen, I have removed the section from the article once again. I will allow it to stay if you can provide another news source or something of the like that can verify the information and include internal citations in the section as well. If you are confused as to how to do any of this, please let me know. I briefly checked the sources on the page and did not find adequate sources to allow negative/dubious content like that to remain in the article. You're obviously close to the matter and not impartial/neutral, but your contribution can still be useful if presented in the correct light. See Wikipedia:NPOV, WP:VERIFY, and WP:RS for more information. Additionally, WP:PRIMARY might help explain our hesitancy to rely on primary sources only, especially when adding negative content to a biography of a living person. Your recent edits[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 18:39, 18 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits at Derek Corrigan[edit]

Hi Karen, I know that WP can be a big and confusing place but please come to the Derek Corrigan talk page here before inserting the same content again. I have invited User:Slazenger to the discussion also. Thanks and welcome to WP!--KeithbobTalk 19:35, 18 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This addition is weird: "Corrigan said the council would remove breed-specific language but according to critics, he failed to follow through on his promise." Corrigan never said he would remove breed-specific language. The council was looking to strengthen it? I'm not sure why my accurate info got removed and replaced by something inaccurate. I have responded on Talk:Derek_Corrigan#City_by_laws_for_dog_breeds. Please continue the conversation there. --Slazenger (Contact Me) 20:37, 18 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Fair enough. I started it with the intention of expanding on it, but didn't get around to doing it in a timely manner. Thanks! Karen Middlefield (talk) 19:28, 19 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
