Links to draft articles[edit]

Information icon Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to Kurdistan Workers' Party. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. Arjayay (talk) 11:13, 2 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Notification on the existence of discretionary sanctions on Kurds and Kurdistan[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in the topics of Kurds and Kurdistan, broadly construed. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

You are editing in a sensitive area and I would like to let you know that you are editing in that area similar like an IP and user who were both blocked yesterday. I will not report you for now, I just let you know my observation and suggest you to edit in an other area (not categories for example). Add info, expand articles... Based on the pattern, I think it may be safe to say this account is a sockpuppet of the IP and the user by the name of Şemseddin Şentürkler.BlueNoise (talk) 05:51, 3 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Sockpuppetry Investigation[edit]

You are suspected of sockpuppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, then, if you wish to do so, respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/88.228.71.200. Thank you. Draft:List of attacks by Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Draft:List of attacks by Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Draft:List of attacks by Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. BlueNoise (talk) 11:46, 3 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of edit warring noticeboard discussion[edit]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

Information icon Hello, I'm Serafart. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Mahsum Korkmaz Academy—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Kurdistan Workers' Party, you may be blocked from editing. Shadow4dark (talk) 18:42, 3 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet[edit]

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively as a sockpuppet of User:CarlostheJackal01 per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/CarlostheJackal01. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
