In response to your feedback[edit]

I'm sure the Polish Wikipedia has plenty of articles which would be worth having translated to English; if you want to give it a try see our translation department.

Can you add more references? All sentences need to have references, we still have a few day to feature it on Wikipedia's main page at T:TDYK. If you can add references, I can help with nomination. I've added some refs but more are needed. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk to me 21:09, 7 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

August 2012[edit]

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give HTV-1 a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. In this case, the page should not be moved anyway. The Kounotori name was not introduced until long after HTV-1 was deorbited, so the article should not be given a spurious and non-contemporary name; it was never called "Kounotori 1". Names of places[edit]

Hi, many thanks for your edits on Łódź train stations. Something cut my edit summary for Łódź Widzew in half, so I just wanted to explain that I don't think it makes sense to translate names of proper places like you did with Rondo Inwalidów. You wouldn't say New World Street for ulica Nowy Świat in Warsaw, would you? (well, I wouldn't - sounds awkward to me - and the article for Nowy Świat uses the Polish name throughout the text, with the translation given once only because this is a famous street and its name has this unusual meaning). Disambiguation link notification for May 7[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Łódzka Kolej Aglomeracyjna, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mikołajów (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
