November 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Soverain Software may have broken the syntax by modifying 4 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • In 2010, Soverain Software filed a suit against a number of e-commerce companies, including [[Nordstrom's[[, [[Macy's]], [[Home Depot]], [[Radioshack]], [[Kohl's]] and [[Newegg]] alleging infringement of U.

I have reverted your edits. Removing reliably sourced information you happen to dislike is not acceptable. Wikipedia takes a very dim view of editors with a conflict of interest trying to whitewash their employers. Huon (talk) 17:30, 7 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Question[edit]

Hi Local2011. Say, what's your relationship to Soverain Software? Are you employed by them in some manner? Herostratus (talk) 21:06, 12 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Herostratus - I worked with i4i which had a similar lawsuit to Soverain and also faced a similar problem with people posting false information on their wiki page and undoing factual updates. I have posted the accurate information about Soverain on their page with accurate references today so the page is current. For some reason, the editors are not reading the references which back up the truthful claims so I have had to redo the posting. I hope the issue is now resolved. ?? Question re incorrect information on Google[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

A Google search of 'Jeff O'Neill wife' shows that Lydia O'Neill is his wife. In fact, they are divorced and he got married to Jummi O'Neill on September 14, 2019.

Here is a link to a photo that Jeff posted on his twitter on their wedding day. [1]

How does one update the information so that Google has the accurate / current information? I have tried to contact playerswiki where the info is posted inaccurately but there is no contact for the website. I would appreciate your help in knowing what to do.

Thank you. Local2011 (talk) 00:32, 8 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
