Confusing articles[edit]

Hello, Planktune. I have put two of your articles up for deletion: The Line of Polity and The Skinner. As written, they read like utter nonsense. Apparently they are descriptions of books? I suggest you go back to the articles and edit them in such a way that the reader understands what you are talking about, otherwise they could be deleted. -- MisterHand 17:54, 5 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks for making the changes, I've added a note on the AFD pages. -- MisterHand 14:41, 6 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cowl.jpg[edit]

I'm sorry to have to tell you that I have managed to change the picture of image Cowl.jpg as I did not realise a previous picture already existed with this name. I have tried undoing the edit but without success. Looks like you will have to re-upload the picture if you still have it. I will re-upload my picture with a different name. Apologies for any inconvenience. Mjroots (talk) 23:48, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I wonder if you are aware that the sign on the west side is a modern JR East sign which uses the common Hepburn romanization while the sign in your photo on the east side is clearly much older (JNR era?) and therefore not surprisingly uses the Kunrei-shiki Rōmaji or Nihon-shiki systems that used to be more common. If you think it is a "mistake" or even remarkable, then I am afraid you are mistaken, and you really need to travel around Tokyo more by train with your camera, as it is not that unusual to find old signs like that. Keep your eyes peeled at Shinjuku station, and you will still find signage saying things like "Sinjyuku". Finally, note that it is not appropriate to add comments about editors (i.e. myself) to Wikipedia articles, so I strongly suggest you consider rewording your contributions or move your comments to the Talk page. Thanks. --DAJF (talk) 11:10, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Matsudo-misspell.JPG[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Matsudo-misspell.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. FASTILYsock(TALK) 21:41, 17 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
