ukexpat (talk) 17:53, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the message. I have formatted the references using <ref>....</ref> tags and added the {{Reflist}} template in a References section so that the references are displayed properly. I think it's ready to be moved to the mainspace so let me know if you need help with that. It would be great if we could get hold of an image file of the firm's logo, but their website is all flash-based so I could not download it. – ukexpat (talk) 15:47, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I moved it to Shilpa Architects, added some categories and talk page project templates. I also corrected the licensing/non-free use stuff on the logo image info page as it was not correct. – ukexpat (talk) 19:40, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Shilpa Architects Planners Designers Pvt Ltd (logo).jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Shilpa Architects Planners Designers Pvt Ltd (logo).jpg, which you've attributed to subject company. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ukexpat (talk) 20:04, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:ShilpaArchitects-logo.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:ShilpaArchitects-logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:13, 9 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Rasikar, I noticed that you have edited Sheila Sri Prakash over time. I just wanted to share an article I am writing about her son, Bhargav Sri Prakash and would greatly appreciate any insights or feedback that you may have about him. Please take a look at my draft at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Bhargav_Sri_Prakash. Thank you in advance for your patient feedback as I am still learning my way around authoring articles!

Sure (Chippadum. I have looked at the article and have linked from other articles and added to categories List_of_University_of_Michigan_business_alumni and Categories of 1. Indian business executives, 2. Indian chief executives, 3. Indian corporate directors and 4. Indian businesspeople. I do not know much about Sheila Sri Prakash's son but will do my best.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice

The file File:Sheila Sriprakash RSB2010.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
