June 2014[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Bonadea. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the page Opt-in email, because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 07:37, 29 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Dilhani Ekanayake. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 08:15, 29 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Sabeetha Perera, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://actressinsrilankan.blogspot.com/2011/09/sabeetha-perera.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) June 2014[edit]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Finance. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. External links[edit]

Please read WP:EL, particularly WP:ELNO and make sure your links conform to our guideline. You might need to read WP:RS also about sources. Thanks. Dougweller (talk) 07:01, 30 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

July 2014[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link, as you did at Gamya Wijayadasa. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. bonadea contributions talk 09:47, 4 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
