The article Ignas Staškevičius has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:

We need some sources and refs to why he is important. All biographies of living people created after March 18, 2010, must have references.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Orphaned non-free media (File:Accident Murderers.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Accident Murderers.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:30, 26 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Kanye West article[edit]

I reverted some of your changes to Kanye West. Collaborative albums are still studio albums, the main category/type, so ordering them separately is confusing, especially if the articles Watch the Throne and Cruel Summer are chained to the albums West did alone. The former is both a Jay-Z studio album and a Kanye studio album. Some of the content you added was either unsourced or too much information, particularly the singles, which stray from the biographical aspect into a single's title change. The paragraph about the albums' accolades shouldnt be merged into West's accolades; different topic. Dan56 (talk) 19:20, 2 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

As of now, the sentence you removed from Cruel Summer (album) is accurate and properly sourced, so it shouldnt be removed (WP:Verifiability) The album has received generally mixed reviews from the critics that have reviewed it, and the source cited supports that. It will definitely be updated soon, but it shouldnt be removed. There's no guideline or policy at Wikipedia that suggests removing content because it's "too soon" to tell something or to wait several days. (Wikipedia:Verifiability, not truth) Dan56 (talk) 20:59, 18 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Also, the reviews included in the article and by the source citing the other sentence are considered professional review sites by both Metacritic and WP:ALBUMS/REVSITE, as well as AnyDecentMusic?. It's not definitive information, but it's still relevant enough to be supported by a reliable source, so it should be included. Dan56 (talk) 21:02, 18 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Collaboration albums shouldnt be separated in a short discography list, which should just summarize with a general list of the artist's major works. Solo albums are billed for artists formely of a group, and putting them in two different lists disrupts the chronology. There's not encyclopedic reason for stylizing this way. Dan56 (talk) 14:22, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
AGAIN: Solo album, a marketing term, so no, it shouldnt be there. BTW, it is not "simply the universal form of organization on Wikipedia." Wikipedia has no universal style guideline (could you refer me to it?) Per WP:MOS, "An overriding principle is that style and formatting choices should be consistent within an article," not among articles. Wikipedia promotes internal consistency, not external. (MOS/archive123) Each article has its own information to be dealt with differently, and in this case the "solo album" tag is misleading and not appropriate terminology as explained previously. Unless you have actual rationale to make this change, dont reintroduce it based on preference or seeing it applied by misguided users on other articles; there's not sound reasoning behind formatting each and every article stylistically. We could discuss this further at the article's talk page, but reverting is not acceptable, especially over MOS changes. Dan56 (talk) 17:57, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
If you still feel like discussing this, I opened a post at the article's talk page here. Dan56 (talk) 18:06, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for October 10[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Pusha T, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cruel Summer (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

December 2012[edit]

Hello, I'm Dan56. Your recent edit to the page Cruel Summer (GOOD Music album) appears to have added incorrect information, so I removed it for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 21:31, 3 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

When making non-minor changes to articles (i.e. textual revisions), please include a brief edit summary before saving your changes, as you did not here. Per WP:FIES, it is considered good practice and lets other editors understand your intentions without hastely reverting the edit. Dan56 (talk) 21:34, 3 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
